Located in the heart of Branson are three wineries that are a favorite of guests to visit.  Curling Vine Winery features wines from the well-known Held family, famous for Stone Hill wine.  During their free tour, you’ll hear about their wine making process, see bottling displays, and end in a tasting room where you can try some of their wines and juices.  Just down the road from Curling Vine you’ll find Mount Pleasant Winery.  Mount Pleasant offers tasting rooms where you can try their various wines or bottle your own dessert wine.  For a fun added activity, sign up for a Wine 101 Class.  You will impress your next dinner guests by learning how to pair food and wine.  At St. James Winery visitors not only relax and enjoy wine tasting but they also stay and dine in their restaurant located on site.  Their unique menu items are the perfect pair to tasting their award winning wines.

Located a short drive from the main Branson area is a hidden gem.  Lindwedel Wine Garden is located atop a hill offering stunning panoramic views as you slowly sip a glass of their local wine.  Their outdoor patio is perfect for enjoying a beautiful day and they often feature live music for enjoyment during warmer weather.  Cheese, meat and bread trays are available to try along with your choice of wine.  If you’re looking for a place to have a special event like a wedding, reception, or party, this is an ideal location.

Located north of Branson, Bear Creek’s Hideaway Wine Cellar is off the beaten path, nestled in a beautiful wooded setting.  Here they feature whimsical local Missouri wines under their own label, perfect for tasting or purchasing as a gift.  This is the perfect location to take a deep breath and enjoy the natural beauty of the Ozarks.

At Copper Run Distillery all products are handcrafted, starting with raw ingredients and ending with labeling and bottling.  This interesting stop is the first legal distillery in the Ozark Mountains since the prohibition ended in 1933.  Spend some time enjoying one of their signature cocktails or tour the distillery.  Bottled moonshine, whiskey, and rum are also available for purchase.  Copper Run is the perfect cap to a fun-filled day.

When visiting Top of the Rock, be sure to stop by the End of the Trail All-American Wine Cellar.  This stunning cave-like area is filled with more than 200 varieties of American wines and includes a wine tasting bar, a whiskey room, a cigar and cognac room as well as banquet space.

More fun stops in the Branson area include Missouri Ridge Distillery located north of town as well as Smith Creek Moonshine located at Branson Landing.  Both have BBQ meal options.

Branson is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing vacation with someone special, great friends, or family.  With these unique experiences you’re bound to learn something new, enjoy some new flavors, see more of Branson, and create new memories.
