One of only two par-3 courses to be used in official competition in a PGA TOUR-sanctioned event, the Jack Nicklaus designed Top of the Rock features nature and golf at its finest. Perched high above Table Rock Lake, the peaceful waterfalls, wandering creeks, bass filled ponds and pristine lakes of Top of the Rock complete a true celebration of nature, the Ozarks and the game of golf.

Top of the Rock is the result of a 7 year redesign project by visionary Johnny Morris (Owner of Big Cedar Lodge and founder of Bass Pro Shops) and golf legends Jack Nicklaus, Tom Watson and Arnold Palmer. Top of the Rock is a where nature and world-class golf meet to create a unique experience found nowhere else in the world. Some of the highlights are a Jack Nicklaus 9-hole, par 3 signature golf course. The Arnold Palmer practice facility features 16 target greens with synthetic and natural grass along with water features. The Tom Watson designed one-acre putting course was inspired by the famed Himalayas putting course at St. Andrews in Scotland and features putting greens up to 200 feet in length.  The course also brings some of golf’s most accomplished players together with The Big Cedar Legends of Golf Tournament sponsored by Bass Pro Shops.

Not only is this a world class champion golf course, but you will also find the Lost Canyon Cave & Nature Trail, the Ancient Ozarks Natural History Museum, and gourmet dining on the property.   At the Lost Canyon Cave & Nature Trail, you are able to take a relaxing ride along the two-and-a-half mile trail, enjoying the beauty from a great vantage point. The cart ride through Lost Canyon Cave will take you alongside natural waterfalls, gorgeous rock formations, and breathtaking views of Table Rock Lake. Oh, and while you’re in the cave be sure to try a signature beverage at the “cave bar”!  Check online for hours and pricing.

The dining at Top of the Rock will not disappoint. With 3 restaurants to choose from you will have to try them all!  Osage Restaurant, the Native American themed restaurant with beautiful views if the Ozark Mountains, serves American cuisine. The Buffalo Bar, which is located on the lower level of the Osage Restaurant, is an open-air dining option where you can relax after a long day of exploring. Choose a bite to eat from the dinner menu or just enjoy the lake view with a cold beverage. Above all you must visit Arnie’s Barn.  This barn is in honor of Arnold Palmer. This is a “real deal” barn from Palmer’s hometown in Pennsylvania that was disassembled and brought to Top of the Rock. Aside from coming to see the one of a kind structure and memorabilia, you can also enjoy a wonderful contemporary Mexican cuisine.

So, whether you’re an avid golfer, lover of nature, or enjoy a great meal overlooking a beautiful sunset, this is your kind of place.
