See the Lights
Christmas lights are a sure sign that the holiday season has arrived. Branson’s Gift of Lights features over 300 LED Christmas light displays. This self-guided driving tour can accommodate vehicles from individual cars to motorcoaches. Another favorite experience is “Let There Be Lights” Drive Thru at Promised Land Zoo. Here visitors can enjoy a 2-mile LED light display and then visit the Candy Land Courtyard complete with musical trees, light displays, Santa and his reindeer, and a Live Nativity Petting Zoo – plus hot chocolate! Adoration Parade & Lighting Ceremony
Branson very proudly proclaims it is okay to say “Merry Christmas” and shares the true meaning of Christmas in many different ways. Visitors enjoy living Nativity scenes at various attractions as well as their favorite Christmas hymns at several different shows. The first Sunday of December is marked with the lighting of the huge Nativity scene atop Mount Branson, just above the Branson Landing area. The annual Adoration Parade follows the lighting through Historic Downtown Branson. This evening parade honors the story of Christmas and celebrates the Gift of Christ.
