Top of the Rock

Top of the Rock is the result of a 7 year redesign project by visionary Johnny Morris (Owner of Big Cedar Lodge and founder of Bass Pro Shops) and golf legends Jack Nicklaus, Tom Watson and Arnold Palmer. Top of the Rock is a where nature and world-class golf meet to create a unique experience found nowhere else in the world. Top of the Rock Golf Course is located in the Ozark Mountains high above Table Rock Lake with peaceful waterfalls, wandering creeks, bass filled ponds and pristine lakes. Some of the highlights are a Jack Nicklaus 9-hole, par 3 signature golf course. The Arnold Palmer practice facility features 16 target greens with synthetic and natural grass along with water features.  The Tom Watson designed one-acre putting course was inspired by the famed Himalayas putting course at St. Andrews in Scotland and features putting greens up to 200 feet in length. The signature restaurant and pro shop are located inside a150-year-old barn that was dismantled in Arnold Palmer's Pennsylvania hometown and reassembled onsite at Top of the Rock by a local Amish family. The course brings some of golf’s most accomplished players together in the PGA Champions Tour, team competition, The Big Cedar Legends of Golf Tournament sponsored by Bass Pro Shop. The Champions Tour is played on over 54 holes at two of Branson Missouri’s premiere golf courses the Big Cedar Lodge’s Par-3 Top of the Rock Course and the 18-hole Buffalo Ridge Golf course.
