Trails and Parks

Branson being the outdoor paradise that it is offers many trails for hiking and biking.  If you are looking for a leisurely walk through the beautiful Ozark Mountains, Henning Conservation Area may be just the place for you.  Located off Highway 76 heading west towards Silver Dollar City, it’s a beautiful trail that you can see nature unfolding right before your very eyes!  A relatively new trail system has opened up that takes you along the shore of Table Rock Lake around the Dewey Short Visitors’ Center and meanders toward the Showboat Branson Belle.  There are several trails nestled in the city limits of Branson that give you beautiful views of everything from Lake Taneycomo to waterfalls.  The City of Branson’s Parks & Recreation website has a list of all city trails.

The City of Branson has many parks perfect for a picnic or basking in the Ozarks sunshine.  City park facilities range in amenities from playgrounds to tennis courts.  For a list of city parks click here.  There are also several parks along Table Rock Lake.  One area great to have a picnic along the lake is located at the Dewey Short Visitors Center.
